The Affiliated R&D Center, pioneering the future with advanced technology, established the R&D Center in 1991. Focus is on securing proprietatory technologies and development of new technologies in a rapidly changing high-tech environment. Since foundation the center has been steadily leading the development of the domestic power industry and devoted itself to the development of reliable power equipment products.

In addition, the R&D Center has continously progressed developed available transmission and substation power equipments as well as electric protection equipments, which were the core fields of development at start. It gradually swith its focus on new fields such as in the renewable energy segment, where smart grids, and environment-friendly power equipments are being developed, that will lead the 21st century.
